Meet *Yaneth, 30 yr old mother of two. She was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia shortly after giving birth to her daughter. After several years of treatment, she was able to receive a transplant at the NIH. Her sister was her bone marrow donor. Friends at NIH provided a home away from home, at one of our local apartments, where she could stay with her husband as her caregiver and her children could come visit as she recovered.
With your help we were able to support this young family.
“We are so grateful to you for letting us stay in the wonderful apartment…Gracias”
