BETHESDA, MD. (March 19. 2025)The Friends of Patients at the NIH, a 501c3 charitable organization providing hope by giving emotional and financial support to patients receiving groundbreaking and life-saving treatments at the NIH, announces that Mrs. Meghan Hendery has been elected to its board of directors.

Mrs. Hendery has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and service delivery transformation. She currently serves as a Principal in KPMG’s Advisory Practice, where she focuses on enhancing the value of healthcare through strategic planning, implementation, and operationalization of public health programs. Her extensive understanding of public policy and its impact on health and human service initiatives has made her a respected leader in the field.

“I am thrilled to return to my passion for the mission of the NIH and to contribute to the incredible work being carried out by Friends of Patients at NIH,” said Meg Hendery. “This organization plays a crucial role in supporting patients and their families receiving care at the NIH, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need during their treatment. I am honored to be part of this meaningful mission.”

Meg earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and a Master of Science from Columbia University. She lives in Brookeville, MD, with her husband Joe and their four children.
