On Friday, June 26th, 2020, Federal News Network’s Federal Drive anchor Tom Temin organized a Motorcycle Ride for Charity to benefit Friends of Patients at the NIH.
Fifteen motorcycle riders joined dozens of non-riding contributors to raise more than $5,000 for the Federal Employees Education and Assistance Fund and Friends of Patients at the NIH.
The money raised was split between the two charities with Heidi Williams there to accept the donation on our behalf. NIH’s own Director, Dr. Francis Collins, was also on-hand to join in on the ride.
